Q: Will I be ready to apply to college after App Camp?
A: We provide the resources necessary for you to have the Common App completed at the end of camp. Depending on what schools you apply to, there may be supplemental work before you hit send.
Q: Can you guarantee admission to the schools my child is applying to?
A: No. College admissions coaches cannot guarantee admittance to any school. This camp’s purpose is to help students complete their required personal statement and navigate all sections of the Common App.
Q: During this week will you help my student find colleges to apply to?
A: It is recommended that students come to camp already prepared with a list of colleges they would like to apply to. It may be that a college is added to their list, but we will not be spending an allotted time identifying potential colleges to apply to.
Q: Is there any pre-work that needs to be completed?
A: Yes. Approximately three hours of prep work will need to be completed by each student and emailed to alison@basecampcollegecoaching.com.
Prep work to be emailed upon registration. This work will help both you and Alison have a better understanding of your application goals.
Q: What if I want more help applying to college?
A: I offer individual coaching on a case by case basis. If you feel like you would benefit from additional coaching, please email me.
